L Himal- Himalayan Salt

L’Himal- Himalayan Crystal Salt. L’Himal Pink Salt is a marine salt, formed 200 million years ago when the Himalayas were created. Minerals infiltrated the salt naturally and provide the characteristic pink colour - proof of its’ natural iron content. It has remained 100% natural, unrefined and unpolluted. The local people continue an ancient tradition and mine the salt, bringing it on the back of yaks. L’Himal operates a Fair Trade system by donating money back to the Salt Health Trust International who finance local construction of schools and clinics.
